Leighton loves bananas and now the only thing she loves more than bananas is getting to bite the banana. A couple of days ago I was getting a banana for Leighton and wondered what she would do if I gave her the whole banana. Well she grabbed it and stared at it for a while then started squishing it in her hands. I brought the banana up to her mouth and then she understood that it was okay to take a bite. She loved getting to hold it and take bites on her own. She did a really good job eating it now she just needs to learn to take smaller bites.
