The Wedding

I've been a bad blogger....

On August 18th Eric, Leighton and I headed out to northern Cali to see Eric's mom get married. We flew there and on the plane Leighton got her very own seat (if you can afford it, you should totally buy your under 2 year old their own seat). Wow, I was amazed at how good she was on the plane. We just strapped her into her car seat (which weighs about a thousand pounds, just ask Eric) and just handed her new toys when she got bored with the ones she had.

We spent the first day, Wednesday, shopping with Eric's mom and then Leighton got to meet her grandpa and great grammy (Eric's dad and grammy). It was great to finally get them all together.

On Thursday we went to Sacramento to visit with 2 of my friends (one of which was supposed to be having a baby for me to meet but I guess baby girl didn't get the memo, she should be here September 5th though). We drove back to Walnut Creek and enjoyed dinner with Leighton's grandpa and great grammy at The Cheesecake Factory. Friday we tried to relax a little and did some last minute errands before the rehearsal and dinner. The dinner was in Alameda and was very nice. We got to meet Craig's family and enjoy a night out.

The wedding was Saturday and it was beautiful. Eric's mom looked amazing and Craig wasn't half bad himself (lol). Leighton wore a pretty white dress and was so good during the hour long ceremony. The reception was really nice with beautiful flower center pieces.

On Sunday we went to visit Eric's cousin Mike and his wife and kids. We also saw Eric's friend Jason and his family. Then it was back on the plane to Phoenix.
