First Word

Today at around 6:30 am Leighton said her first word, dada. At 6:30am I was kind of glad that was her first word because I got to sleep in while dada got up to give her a bottle. She has been saying it all day and it's so cute. Of course she has no idea what it means or that she's even saying it but really it is cute. Sure I'm a little sad she didn't say mama first but we all know who can get her to stop crying first! LOL And I know that it is actually easier for babies to say dada first. I just have something to look forward to still...mama.
