Library!

The best part of story time was playing with the parachute.

Today Leighton went to the Library for the first time. Eric and I took her to Baby Steps, which is story, song, and puppet time for babies 0-24 months. Lets just say we won't be back every week but when we need to change up our normal routine we might go back once a month...or less. Leighton just wanted to play with all the babies and not listen to the story or songs and the puppet was a creepy boy puppet that sat in the librarians lap the whole time. Most of the moms just held their little ones in their laps so Leighton didn't have anyone to play with. Maybe next time we'll go to the earlier class.

We got library cards and checked out a few books to read and got our paperwork for the children's summer reading club. Leighton has to have 30 books read to her to get a free book and ticket to a Diamondback's game.
