Disneyland and San Diego

To celebrate some family birthdays and to visit with family Leighton's Grandma Lola and Grandpa Craig took us all to Disneyland and San Diego.

Leighton liked all the rides and LOVED meeting Mickey and walking through Mickey's house. Since Tangled is her favorite movie we really wanted to take her to see Rapunzel. So Eric waited in line for about an hour and a half just so Leighton could meet her...she was so scared! Towards the end of our meet and greet (you get a couple of minutes) she started to warm up but she would not let me put her down. Maybe next time. We also got to meet Goofy and Pluto. She did pretty well for only having a very short nap in her stroller.

We went to the beach the first day we were in San Diego. The weather was so nice and the water was super cold. Leighton had the best time playing in the sand and running around in her swim suit. That night we went to Benihana for dinner, it was super yummy like always!

The second day in San Diego we went to Sea World. The first thing we did was go feed a dolphin! I really wanted to do that. At first Leighton didn't want to try but after seeing mom do it she was a pro. She pet the dolphin and feed him/her 2 fish. The first fish the dolphin had to search for but the second fish Leighton threw right into his/her mouth. She wanted to keep feeding him when we were done.

We made it to 3 of the 4 shows with Leighton and I think she like the pet show best. She was totally watching all the dogs ans and cats run around and do tricks. She got her own seat and got to pet one of the doggies after the show.

She also got to meet Elmo. She did really good with him, she went up to him and gave him a hug and stood for pictures.

On the last day of our trip we did a little shopping and had lunch with Eric's mom and Craig. After they left we went back to the beach to play in the perfect sand one more time.
